What This Site Is
Texas Tenants Rights Hub is a free, independently run legal information resource for Texas renters. Every guide on this site is grounded in the Texas Property Code, Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, and verified court decisions — not opinions, not paraphrases from other websites.
Our goal is simple: every Texas renter should understand their legal rights before they need them. Most tenants lose money on security deposits, tolerate illegal eviction tactics, or endure unrepaired units simply because they don't know what the law actually says. This site fixes that.
What We Cover
All guides cover Texas state law. Some topics include notes on city-specific rules for Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
What This Site Is NOT
We do not represent tenants or landlords. We are not a law firm. We do not provide case evaluation, legal strategy, or representation of any kind.
